How It Works
Laser/IPL hair reduction works by delivering light energy that is absorbed by melanin in the hair follicle. The light converts to thermal energy, helping damage the follicle to reduce future growth. Because hair grows in cycles, a series of treatments is needed to target follicles at the right stage.
What To Expect During Treatment
TREATMENT TIME
Appointments are typically around 30 minutes per session after the consultation process, depending on the area treated.
COMFORT + DOWNTIME
During treatment, you may feel mild heating and a snapping sensation along with warmth in the treatment area. These sensations are typically very well tolerated. Most clients return to normal activities right away.
TREATMENT PLAN + RESULTS TIMELINE
For optimal results, hair reduction is typically performed as a series.
RECOMMENDED SERIES
Most clients require 3–4 treatments.
TYPICAL SPACING
Treatments are usually spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
MAINTENANCE
Results vary, but many clients consider maintenance treatments every 12–18 months to help maintain their results.
