Leah Dumaine, RN

Leah is a Registered Nurse with a Master's Degree in Health Studies and more than three decades of nursing experience. Since beginning her nursing career in 1994 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, she has worked across a wide range of specialties including surgical nursing, post-anesthetic recovery, endoscopy, plastic surgery, clinical project development, guideline writing, and patient navigation. Her diverse clinical background has provided her with a strong foundation in patient care, education, and evidence-based practice.

Passionate about lifelong learning and helping others feel their best, Leah began her journey in Medical Aesthetics in 2007 and has been dedicated to the field ever since. She has built a reputation for providing thoughtful, individualized care while helping patients achieve natural, refreshed results that enhance their confidence and overall well-being.

As an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Specialist and advanced injector, Leah regularly attends conferences, advanced training programs, educational workshops, and industry events to stay at the forefront of aesthetic medicine. Her commitment to ongoing education ensures that she remains current with the latest technologies, treatment techniques, and evidence-based advancements in this rapidly evolving field.

Leah is a member of both the Dermatology Nurses' Association and the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Specialty Nurses. She believes that patient education is one of the most important aspects of aesthetic medicine and takes pride in empowering her patients to make informed decisions about their treatment options. Her goal is to help every client achieve healthy, natural-looking results while feeling confident, informed, and supported throughout their journey.

Outside of the clinic, Leah enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and embracing opportunities for personal and professional growth. She is proud to be part of the Rise Medical Aesthetics team and looks forward to helping clients look and feel their very best through personalized treatment plans and expert care.
