Dermal Filler Injections
Dermal fillers are a non-surgical injectable treatment used to restore facial volume, refine contours, and soften the appearance of lines and folds. At Rise Medical Aesthetics, we primarily use hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers—smooth, gel-like HA designed to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and support hydrated, healthy-looking skin.
As we age, our natural levels of hyaluronic acid gradually decrease, which can contribute to skin looking less firm, less hydrated, and more lined over time. Dermal fillers are used to plump and lift areas that have lost volume, as well as contour and sculpt facial features.
When placed strategically beneath the surface of the skin, HA fillers can soften lines and folds, refine facial balance, and enhance features while maintaining a natural appearance—results that still look like you.
Dermal fillers are long-lasting but not permanent, which allows treatments to be adapted as your face and aesthetic preferences evolve.

What To Expect During Treatment
TREATMENT TIME
The injection portion is typically efficient. If it’s your first visit with us, we’ll book additional time for a comprehensive consultation and to review your goals before proceeding.
COMFORT + DOWNTIME
Dermal filler is minimally invasive, but some downtime is possible. Temporary swelling, tenderness, and bruising can occur.
RESULTS TIMELINE
You may see an immediate change, but early swelling can temporarily alter the look. Results continue to refine as swelling resolves and the product settles.
LONGEVITY
Hyaluronic acid filler lasts longer than we used to think. Results can last approximately 6–30 months depending on the area treated, product selection, and individual metabolism.

Dermal fillers are medical treatments and should be approached with a strong focus on safety, anatomy, and appropriate product selection. Our dermal filler treatments are performed by Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses.
