Lauren MacLean RN

Lauren graduated from North Island College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Shortly after graduation, she relocated to the Lower Mainland to further develop her clinical skills and pursue a specialty in critical care nursing, spending three years working in the Intensive Care Unit. Upon returning to Vancouver Island in 2019, she transitioned into post-anesthetic recovery nursing and completed additional education in renal dialysis, continuing to expand her knowledge and expertise across multiple areas of healthcare.

With over a decade of nursing experience, Lauren brings a strong clinical foundation, attention to detail, and patient-focused approach to Medical Aesthetics. Her commitment to safety, precision, and natural-looking results allows her to create treatment plans that are tailored to each client's unique goals while ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their experience.

Prior to entering nursing, Lauren worked as an aesthetician and makeup artist, developing a deep appreciation for facial harmony, balance, and beauty. Although she no longer provides makeup services, this background provides her with a unique perspective and understanding of facial anatomy, helping her create results that enhance and preserve each client's natural features.

Lauren is passionate about continuing education and believes that ongoing learning is essential in the ever-evolving field of Medical Aesthetics. She regularly pursues advanced training opportunities to ensure she remains current with the latest techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices, allowing her to provide the highest standard of care for her patients.

Outside of the clinic, Lauren enjoys exploring Vancouver Island's trails and coastline, spending time on the water during the summer months, snowboarding in the winter, and adventuring with her beloved doodle. She is proud to be part of the Rise Medical Aesthetics team and looks forward to helping clients achieve refreshed, natural-looking results that leave them feeling confident and empowered.
