Laura McIntyre NP

I’m Laura McIntyre, NP, Founder and Medical Director of Rise Medical Aesthetics in Nanaimo, BC. I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 2006 and completed my Nurse Practitioner degree in 2019. For the past 6 years, I’ve worked exclusively in aesthetic injecting, combining clinical precision with an artistic eye for natural-looking results—always grounded in safety and education.

 

I’m known for my warm, approachable nature, clinical attention to detail, and a highly personalized approach to every treatment. I specialize in cosmetic injectables, including cosmetic and therapeutic neuromodulators, dermal filler, and biostimulator treatments. My goal is to create a comfortable, trusted experience where you feel confident in your plan.

 

As an Island girl and a nurse at heart, I envisioned Rise as a space where our community can come together in wellness—an elevated, calming environment where you feel genuinely cared for.
