Shawna Chappell RN

My name is Shawna and I was born and raised in Nanaimo, B.C. I have been a Registered Nurse in this community for the last 7 years and completed my Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Vancouver Island University in 2015. Soon after graduation, I found a passion for Emergency Nursing and went on to finish my speciality Emergency Nursing training through BCIT. 
In addition to my Medical Aesthetics practice, I continue to work in Nanaimo Regional General Hospital’s Emergency Department.

I have always had a strong passion for Medical Aesthetics and have dreamed of providing these services to my community. With my wide range of practical Nursing experience, knowledge of Human Anatomy, and years of clinical injecting experience, Medical Aesthetics has been a natural fit.  I have been a long time client, as well as advocate for cosmetic injectables and believe that the field of Medical Aesthetics has so many different applications that assist with body positivity and boosting self confidence.  The enjoyment that I gain through my Medical Aesthetics practice and from my satisfied clients has been nothing short of revelatory and has allowed me to excel in this area of medicine.

I'm excited to be working with a team of incredibly talented and knowledgeable injectors at Rise Medical Aesthetics and I can't wait to meet new clients and give them the treatment results that they've been dreaming of.
