Shawna Chappell, RN

Born and raised in Nanaimo, BC, Shawna is a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping patients look and feel their best. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Vancouver Island University in 2015, she pursued her passion for Emergency Nursing and went on to complete her specialty Emergency Nursing training through BCIT. With nearly a decade of nursing experience, Shawna continues to work in the Emergency Department at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital while also providing advanced aesthetic and wellness treatments at Rise Medical Aesthetics.

Medical Aesthetics has always been a natural fit for Shawna. Combining her extensive clinical experience, advanced knowledge of anatomy, and years of injecting expertise, she is dedicated to delivering safe, personalized treatments that enhance natural beauty and support confidence. As both a long-time client and advocate of aesthetic medicine, she understands the positive impact these treatments can have and takes pride in helping clients achieve results that align with their individual goals.

In addition to cosmetic injectables, Shawna is Rise Medical Aesthetics' IV Therapy and PRP Specialist. She has a particular interest in regenerative and wellness-based treatments, helping patients improve their overall health, recovery, and confidence through personalized treatment plans. Her diverse clinical background allows her to approach every patient with a comprehensive understanding of both aesthetics and wellness, providing a well-rounded and supportive experience.

Known for her approachable nature and compassionate care, Shawna is committed to ensuring every client feels comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their treatment journey. She values building lasting relationships and creating treatment plans that are tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Outside of the clinic, Shawna enjoys spending time with her family, embracing the natural beauty of Vancouver Island, and caring for her beloved animals. Whether she's exploring the outdoors, enjoying time with loved ones, or supporting her busy family life, she values the balance between wellness, connection, and community.
