Sculptra®
Sculptra® is an injectable collagen stimulator (also called a biostimulator) used to gradually restore facial volume and improve firmness over time by supporting your body’s natural collagen production. Rather than creating an immediate “filled” effect, Sculptra works progressively—helping improve structure and overall skin quality in a way that’s designed to look natural as it develops. It can help soften the look of cheek wrinkles and smile lines while improving overall skin quality. Sculptra is made with a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which
is gradually absorbed by the body as collagen support develops through a series of treatments.
Sculptra is a core focus of our practice, performed by our aesthetic nurse specialists. Our approach is evidence-based and patient-centred, with careful assessment, precise treatment, and follow-up. Prior to treatment, we include a comprehensive discussion about your goals, including what you’re noticing, what you’d like to improve, and how you want your results to look and feel over time.

What to expect during treatment:
• Treatment time: The treatment itself is typically efficient, with minimal disruption to your day. If it’s your first visit with us, we’ll take a bit more time for a comprehensive consultation and to review your goals before proceeding.
• Treatment plan: Treatment is completed over 2 sessions, spaced 6 weeks apart. The number of vials varies depending on the degree of collagen loss and your goals.
• Comfort + downtime: Minimally invasive, but swelling and bruising can occur and may last for a few days. Tenderness in the treated area is also possible while the product settles.
• Results timeline: Results develop gradually as collagen support increases, with improvement becoming more noticeable within a few months.
• Longevity: Many clients enjoy results that can last up to two years. From there, annual maintenance may be recommended for optimal results.
Our injectable treatments are performed by Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses, and we adhere to the strict professional and safety standards governed by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). We follow evidence-based protocols for assessment, treatment, and aftercare. Our team brings 35 years of injectable experience exclusively in aesthetics.
