Belkyra® Injections
Belkyra® is a non-surgical injectable treatment used to reduce submental fullness (fat under the chin). It works by targeting fat cells in the treated area, helping slim the under-chin profile and improve jawline definition over time.
Belkyra is performed by our aesthetic nurse specialists. Before treatment, we take time for a comprehensive discussion about what you’re noticing, what you’d like to improve, and what kind of result is achievable based on your individual anatomy.

What To Expect During Treatment
TREATMENT TIME
The injections themselves are typically quick. If it’s your first visit with us, we’ll book extra time for a comprehensive consultation and to review your plan before proceeding.
COMFORT + DOWNTIME
Belkyra has real downtime. Swelling is expected and can be significant—especially after the first session. Bruising, tenderness, firmness, and temporary numbness are also common during the healing phase.
RESULTS TIMELINE:
Results develop gradually. Swelling is part of the normal treatment response, and improvement becomes more noticeable as swelling resolves over the weeks that follow.
TREATMENT PLAN:
Optimal results are achieved with a series of sessions—typically 2–3 treatments—though the number of sessions varies depending on the degree of fullness being treated.
Safety, Standards, and Follow-up
Our injectable treatments are performed by Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses. We adhere to strict professional and safety standards governed by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and follow established protocols for assessment, treatment, and aftercare.
Because swelling and healing are expected parts of the Belkyra process, details matter. We’ll review aftercare, what’s normal during healing, and when to contact the clinic.
