Microneedling with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
Microneedling with PRP combines medical microneedling with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to support skin renewal, collagen production, and overall skin quality. At Rise Medical Aesthetics, we perform this treatment using the DP4TM Dermapen and PRP prepared from your own blood. Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin to stimulate a repair response. PRP is a concentrated portion of your blood that contains platelets and growth factors involved in tissue repair. When PRP is applied during microneedling, it can help support healing and enhance the skin’s regenerative response, including collagen and elastin production in deeper layers.

What To Expect During Treatment
TREATMENT TIME
The appointment includes time for consultation, numbing, PRP preparation, and the microneedling treatment itself.
TREATMENT PLAN
Optimal results are typically achieved with a series of treatments. Your recommended number of sessions and spacing will be based on your concerns and desired outcome.
COMFORT + DOWNTIME
Temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, and redness may occur following treatment. Downtime is typically 24–36 hours and is generally very manageable. Expect redness and sensitivity similar to a sunburn. Minor pinpoint bleeding during treatment can occur and is normal.
RESULTS TIMELINE:
Skin may look brighter as it heals, with continued improvement in texture and tone over the weeks that follow. Collagen remodeling is gradual, so results build over time.
