Rachel Gaskell RN

As a Registered Nurse, I have worked in Oncology (primarily chemotherapy) for over ten years. Prior to becoming a nurse, I was interested in a career in aesthetics, so this addition in my nursing practice simply makes sense.

In some ways, oncology and medical aesthetics could not be more different! But there are many skills that I have honed as an RN in cancer care that can be transferred to my work at Rise:

- client safety, assessment, education, and comfort is always paramount.
- injections must be precise as well as gentle.
- connecting with clients and helping to put them at ease will always be my favourite part of my practice.

I consider medical aesthetics an aspect of self-care that can enhance our overall feeling of wellness. I look forward to consulting with you along with the extraordinary team at Rise!
